Requirements
Do I need a firearms license to shoot at Armasec?
No. On our licensed range you shoot under the instructor’s supervision, so you need neither a carry permit nor a firearms ownership license. Please bring a valid photo ID (ID card or passport).
What is the minimum age?
18 years. That is the legal requirement for shooting large-caliber firearms in Germany.
I have never shot before. Can I still take part?
Yes. The beginner course requires no prior experience. We introduce you to each firearm step by step.
What should I bring?
A valid photo ID and comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders and closed-toe shoes. We provide eye and ear protection, firearms and ammunition.
Prices and process
How much does a shooting course cost?
The beginner course costs €169.90 per person, including ammunition, equipment and VAT. Private Performance Training costs €700. Group and corporate events are quoted based on group size.
How long does the course take?
The beginner course takes about 4 hours, from 10 am to approx. 2 pm: 30 minutes of safety, 30 minutes of technique, dry practice and then 51 rounds with eight firearms.
Which firearms will I shoot?
Eight handguns and long guns, including a SIG Sauer P320, H&K MP5, S&W 625 revolver, 12-gauge shotgun, AR-15 (.223) and AK-47 (7.62 × 39 mm).
How do I book a date?
Book beginner courses directly in the online shop and get instant confirmation. For private, group and corporate dates, please inquire by email.
Can I just drop by today to shoot?
No. We are not a walk-in range where you can rent a gun and start shooting. We only offer complete, supervised courses. Book a date in the shop or send us an email.
Can I get a last-minute date?
Beginner courses run on fixed dates. For private training or a corporate event we usually need 7 to 14 days’ notice.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Up to 4 weeks before your date you can switch to another date or cancel your booking. Just send us an email.
Groups and gifts
Can I give a shooting course as a gift?
Yes. Gift cards are available as an instant digital download or, on request, as a paper gift card by mail. The recipient chooses the date. Have a gift card from Jochen Schweizer or mydays? Please redeem it directly on that provider’s website and book your date for our beginner course there. We look forward to seeing you!
Can I come with a group of 8?
Yes, we also offer exclusive dates for private groups, for example birthdays or corporate events. Email us your preferred date and group size.
Can I bring spectators?
Yes, spectators are free. Please let us know by email beforehand so we have enough eye and ear protection ready.

Yes, there is plenty of free parking on site. Our directions on the contact page show how to get from the parking lot to the range.
