David Hauser
Shooting instructor, range officer and owner of Armasec
About me
For me, shooting is more than a hobby – it’s my passion. I first held a firearm during my military service, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I learned to shoot from the ground up in a DSB club, the traditional long way – from air pistol to small-bore pistol to my own large-caliber pistol.
Later my path led me to the BDS. Through its standard disciplines I found IPSC shooting, which I now do in every division: pistol, revolver, shotgun and rifle. I have won several Hesse and German championship titles in the BDS standard program, and in extreme long-range shooting I have gained experience at distances of more than two kilometers in three countries.
With Armasec I pass this experience on. My goal is to give people an easy way into shooting – safe, well-founded and in a way that lets them form their own informed opinion. In my courses I share the knowledge I’ve built up over the years.
